Anyway, my family and I live in a small cosy cottage in the woods of valedale. We own golden hills stables and valedale stables. My parents have always loved horses, so have all our relatives since the 17th century! But anyway I have to go to school now. So BYE diary! :)
“Ellie Bush-berry. Are you listening?” Bellowed Ellie’s maths teacher, Mr Rowley.
“Come on poppy you can do it!” Unconsciously shouted Ellie.
“Ok that’s it Ellie. Come with me to head Mistress Smith’s office,” As we walked down the corridor I felt a sudden sharp pain in my back. All soul riders have that pain. I used to be proud of it as I adore soul riders, but now I just feel scared…
When we got Mrs Smith’s office, Mr Rowley wouldn’t stop moaning about how I keep on daydreaming in his class and how I am a disgrace to the school! Luckily Mrs Smith told Mr Rowley to stop and let her handle it. So he left and it was just me and Mrs Smith. “Ellie I hear that you are day dreaming of horses during your maths class. Please explain,” Mrs Smith said softly.
“Mrs Smith I am awfully sorry but I just can’t help it. I get this pain in my back and then I start thinking about horses and magic, then my mind feels like a whirlwind!” Spluttered Ellie.
“Ellie listen, I think I know what’s wrong. I believe we have found the final soul rider!” Beamed Mrs Smith.
“B-but the only people who can tell if someone is a soul rider is a soul rider themselves or a druid. So that means you must be a druid as you are too old to be a soul rider!” Exclaimed Ellie, surprised
“Yes Ellie that’s right. I am a druid and so is my sister Elizabeth Sunbeam. You might know her, she lives in a cottage in Valedale near the stables,” Replied Mrs Smith.
“Of course I know her! She makes delicious cupcakes for the volunteers at Valedale stable.” Stated Ellie.
“Now-now enough about my sister. Let’s move onto you Ellie. So after school today we will need to go and see my sister so we can talk to her about getting a test done for you so we can finally for sure tell if you are a soul rider,” Mrs Smith told Ellie.
“Ok I will meet you at the end of the day at Elizabeth’s house,” Replied Ellie.
“Yes I’ll be there. But promise not to tell anyone,” Sternly Asked Mrs Smith.
“Ok,” Promised Ellie
